Reason<Logic> Looking for tips to build a FC

I started playing with a few friends from another game a while back now. We ended up starting a FreeCompany on Diabolos. After some time and a lot of saving we eventually got it to rank 8 and bought a large house in the Lavender Beds. At this point most of the FC stopped playing or ended up server hopping to join FCoB statics. I have been left as the FC leader, and now it's just me and one other friend in the FC. With 3.0 around the corner we would like build a group to tackle content, and just to hangout with.

After that sob story, do any of you have tips for building up a FC? Not having much experience running any type of guild, what can i do to start recruiting more members? We are not looking to have one of those FC with 100+ people that we don't even know, but having a few good active players would be nice. Any tips would be appreciated.
