Carby, you look different!

I have been replaying some old FF games lately and came across an earlier version of Carbuncle.

I wonder if he'd still be so popular if the pet in this game looked like a high resolution version of this guy XD

pFFTTT no way, thats the most boring version of Carbuncle from ALL of the final fantasy games it's been in.

Besides, having a stone carby would at least make me agree with people when they say that Carby rocks. Right now I don't.

Oh man, them feels....

Hmmm.. I can't say that I would love to haul that thing around behind me. Just go out to Ul'dah and paint a bunch of rocks blue (or orangey/yellow) and tie a chain around it and drag that sucker around for a bit. You'll want your old hoppy-skippy-jumpy Carbuncle back at any moment!

Wow that almost looks like a real carbuncle xD

I just wish that Carby would stay with you after you become a scholar.
