Just realize how suck up the RNG of this game is. I lost 6 Vitality IV materia to 28% success rate Platinum Scarf of Healing's second slot. It is not the first time but this is suck so hard in my brain. Not much gil consider nowadays price drop but I just lose faith in game system again.
Lost six or seven Determination IV materia while trying to meld the 60% chance slot on my Veil of Wiyu Novus scroll. That was pretty painful. Then I 1-shotted the 50% chance slot. :P
lost 32 grade 3 crafting materias in a roll for 3rd slot offhand melding,
When I was melding my crafting set.. I once emptied out the MB on control and craftsmanship materia.. Tier IIs.. then I had to move up to tier IIIs, by the time I emptied both out, I was finally done.. spent like 6m (each materia costs 30-50k), I almost cried.
Lost about 10 Heaven's Eye IV material for the 5th Slot of my Platinum Scarf of Healing. Opted to save money and just do Heaven's Eye III. Buy 10 and melds on the first try. Mind you, the jump, if people forget... 6% for IV. 7% for 3. :l
139 breaks in a row, 4th meld slot, started with 4s, went into 3s, finished on 2s. This was militia offhand way back when.
I've already seen worse than mine in this short thread.
Last night I hit 3/66 on an 11% w/III materia. *ugh*
Spent about 2M on materia trying to get all the melds on my crafter bracelet, finally got them all, then realized I'd just melded them all to my gathering bracelt...
Just over 50 trys, in a row on an 11% slot.
lost something like 30 grade 3 materia melding the 4th slot on my artisan offhand
melded the 5th slot at the first try.
