Please Make PVP Rank Independent of GC

**In other words, what do you think (SE) about making it so our PVP Rank stays the same across all GC's?**

I'd love to Frontlines with my friends but none of us want to sacrifice our Rank30+ status to have to start the harsh grind all over again, especially with these horrendous queue-times.


Additionally, all of us (my friends & I) hate the idea of being forced into a GC we dislike just to participate in Frontlines (allied) with friends.

I like pirates, my friends don't; I dislike the other GC's but they like them.

I'd love if you permitted friend groups to queue Frontlines by the GC of the party leader or by random GC assignment to speed up queues (if you're not going to abolish GC restriction altogether).


The current system is too restrictive for an MMO that's meant to be SOCIAL (in my opinion).

If you dont want to know what people think about it, dont ask people to tell you what they think about it

SE sure as hell wont reply to you, they like to talk big about how they love pvp and want to improve it, but at the end of the day they dont give a rats ass about it

You don't get it. Contextually, your point was "this wouldn't solve queue times," which I'm not in here trying to solve queue time issues; that discussion is not pertinent to the topic.

Glad you think it's convenient but the "but" of your comment was what made it an off-topic one.

That's Ok, I just wanted to point it out as I'd like the actual content to be discussed as per forum etiquette norms.

I agree; I don't exactly have the time nowadays to grind up my PvP rank with every GC to 45- so I'm pretty much locked into Maelstrom right now. I don't see why it should be tied to your GC; considering lorewise the only PvP mode actually tied to GC is just FL. From what I gathered about WD, it was something along the lines of "the GCs sent people here to train", you can play with anyone regardless of rank/GC, so you're pretty much freelance.

I feel like it should be tied to your character's own profile; maybe logged and kept track of by whoever manages Wolves' Den activity to fit in with lore, FL could be explained then with a simple "your credit on the battlefield to your GC allegiance also extends your influence here".

If anything I think it'd encourage a better environment, however at the same time I can see the flaws of the system (in particular, this pertains to FL- people stacking on 1 GC without worry of losing their rank and just trouncing everyone else)

I can see PVP being a much bigger thing if they just separated the GC Ranks from PVP ranks. All you need to do is offer rewards based on your GC Rank. Your PVP rank is already rewarded with PVP Exclusive gear. GC is technically mounts. There has been many times where I offered my friends to play some PVP with me, but I kept forgetting, "Oh right. You're not Immortal Flames." :x

Or, make it so you can equip pvp gear regardless of rank - rank would only be required to purchase the gear.

You'd be able to use all the gear you previously bought and they wouldn't have to change around that much w/ GC specific achievements.

Only thing that you would lose is abilities but wouldn't take that long to have them at "good enough".

I'd really like to switch as well, but not interested in doing that grind before HW.
