Expansion abilities

Any idea when we'll start seeing pictures/trailers/concept art of upcoming new abilities for the existing jobs?

Maybe we'll see some at the April 11th Live Letter. If not, prob late May.

I could be wrong, but I think they said we'll see a new PLD ability in next live letter on 11th... And that was in direct response to people asking about PLD abilities, so will probably see others too.

Pretty sure we won't see/hear any in-depth descriptions of them though, and we will probably only see 1 or 0 new abilities from each job.

Found this in the article for the upcoming live letter... So to me it looks like we won't get to see too much of the job changes this live letter

I wonder what they would do with NIN, seeing my hotbar and cross hotbar it's already crowded :confused:

NIN actually might not be too difficult in that regard. They could just add new Ninjutsu using the existing Mudra with double casts. For example, Ten > Ten > Chi could be a new ability. That would add nothing to your hotbar.

That's a question I've had a few times for my jobs as well. DRG's current rotation is very precise, so unless they add Off global cooldown abilities, the new abilities will either change our rotation or not be good enough to use. New abilities were fun and exciting in games like FFXI since we had so few to begin with and their cooldowns were monstrously long (by today's standard).

Yes ofc i agree on those ones even if i hope new skills aren't only new ninjutsus, but what about rogue ones? I was thinking about them too. There should be 2-3 more skills from 50 to 60.

Heavensward is too secretive. I really want some info on what can we can expect, as what I'll roll heavily depends on what new abilities/changes will be done to my SMN. Not saying they should spoil everything, but the expansion itself kinda seems like a mere myth atm, and it's less than 3 months away.
