You are supposed to use version II along with buff. On top of that, throw it into the current Battle Regimen and watch how much damage the version II will do. For example Chaos Thrust for LNC, a lot of people think it's bad for damage per TP ratio, but I just did 1,800 dmg Chaos Thrust on Darkhold Ogre the other day.

See, you are missing the point. Battle Regimen and buff enhance your spell damage one time only, and they have minimum 30 sec CD for buff and XX sec depends on how good your party is. Sure you can play with Banish/Scourge I at Ogre for 1500 dmg fully buffed BR or play with a deadly 2k dmg fully buffed BR Banish/Scourge II (on comparison, a normal non-buffed Banish/Scourge I is around 220). The 30% difference get much more noticeable with all the buff, much much more.
No please, lets not yet talk about nerfing things before the big issues are fixed. Lets fix crafting and get more gear content into the game first, then make everyone quit by nerfing the guy they lvled.
See, you get the wrong ideas. Tell me what's your casting and Mana usage gonna do on big fully buffed Battle Regiment? On my example the difference between tier I and tier II are two tier I normal nuke, what's you gonna do about that? Pehlease, if you get a resist on NM/boss, fix your Magic Accuracy or PIE. It's really really hard to miss in a Battle Regimen if you're going last, and if you do I would suggest look closely at yourself.
Profundity, Dark Seal has 30/60 seconds CD. Battle Regimen takes time to pull especially when DoW need TP to use WS. If you can pull WS/Magic BR every 15 seconds you're godly.
Also, nobody said you can't use I along with II. People use Cure II and III along with each other for instance. In a FPS game do you use Grenade all the time or are you gonna use it when it's appropriate?
for solo purposes THEY ARE IMBALANCED. geez, stop trying to justify 40% more damage per mana, IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU SAY. there are other aspects of the game than using a battle regimen with your guild, i have yet to be in a pug where people use it, plus its GETTING REMOVED next patch anyways, which supports my statement even more.
The spells are completely broken and i think you need to just accept it and try it. if it was only say a 10% increase that would be a COMPLETELY different story. but the fact that i can grind nonstop with scourge / banish 1 without EVER going out of mana simply because of their insane coeficients with INT and DPM.
i can bet you my whole account it will get nerfed, then ill bump this thread.
