Things you can do while waiting for 3.0 (E'lusana edition)

So as you all know, there's nothing major coming out until the expansion. SE loaded us with a ton of drama in the story and we're all eager for what happens next and the end gamers are eager for new challenges to take on.

So what can you do now rather than cancel your subscription?

1. Help people learn things like T9 and FCoB. Work with them, give them advice on simple things such as class rotation, positioning and all that fun stuff. It's tedious and at times you can feel like people are not learning at all but every little bit helps. This is especially useful because through your own actions, you are teaching and training the community on your server and greatly increasing the amount of players you can depend upon to clear difficult content!
   
2. Tackle the savage coils! You're looking for your next challenge? Go take down the savage coils and they will not disappoint you <3
   
3. Farm FCoB to gear up your alts? If you got the people to do it with, go for it!
   
4. Level up those classes and crafting / gathering jobs you were too lazy to do before. Crafting is interesting in this game though the RNG is irritating at times but it's manageable!
   
5. Find and report gil buyers to SE and push their bans hard so that when 3.0 comes out, our economy isn't flooded with 1000000+ gil seller /tells per day. Remember folks: It's the buyers, not the sellers that are the real problem.
   
6. Take on a relic quest or more than one if you have one already ;) They do have a tendency to keep people busy that's for sure.
   
7. Hit up party finder, meet people and make friends! MMORPGs are all about the people and nothing is more exciting than playing with people you enjoy being around.
   
8. Don't have an eternal bonding partner? Well... go find that special someone that you want to spend most of your time with in the game!
   
9. Loved the story quests? Make an alt with a brand new race and go through it again!
   
10. Hit up SCoB and BCoB and farm yourself some glamour! The content is usually much easily beaten even if you got people who aren't that good, you can still work with them... except T9 maybe lol.
    
11. Pony farms!
    
12. Farm triple triad cards and setup player run tournaments. Be like those Magic the Gathering people you'd see at your school :P
    
13. Chocobo racing if that's your thing!
    
14. Done your beast tribe dailies? Did you even know there's reputation from beast tribes in this game? :P

Nothing to do? Oh there's lots to do! I'm still overwhelmed with things to do right now lol. Please feel free to add to this list if you want! I will certainly edit my post to add other good suggestions :3

The 2.55 story was great and made this month's subscription feel worth the value, but the lack of gameplay update doesn't help to ease the boredom of many accomplished players for another 2 and a half month. There's only so much farm you can do before you get bored and not everyone enjoy every side-games that FFXIV has to offer.

Back when version 1.2x went down with a final bang, they added interesting events like monsters invading Ul'dah, Atomos, and going around the world praying to the Twelves. We could really use something like that to keep players logging in instead of just nagging them to repeat old content (kinda have enough of that from doing Zodiac).
