NIN Macro Mudra
So let me start by saying im not worried about Max DPS and dont think ill do much if any progression content with my NIN, normally i go PLD, so i was thinking on macroing my major Mudra
Any good reason not to? i know i lose some dps but 2 GCD kinda eh to me

I mean if you really don't care about losing DPS, then...go ahead I guess.
Though, then that attack takes 3 seconds of not doing anything except waiting for the mudra to go off, can't attack while it's going or you'll mess up the mudra.
Personally I don't find it hard to memorize the mudras, but...that's just me.

While you do lose DPS as you're well aware of, it's really not worth making a Mudra macro because the delay is so long. The best you can make for macros is reminders to throw up Huton, but remembering that comes with time too.
Just keep practicing and playing Ninja. You'll eventually remember the rotations for all of them. IIRC in order of learning was:
Jin > Ten > Chi - Leave it this way and most everything is simple.

well with the server lags it feels like it takes me 2 seconds or so of hitting the keys anyways soooooo i mean how much of a dps loss is it really
if the mudra were instant thats one thing but they are no where close

it varies, mainly because even with lag, you'll screw up the macro even more than when doing the input manually. And this comes from someone who used to macro. The DPS difference is also very noticeable, but i'd suggest running some numbers on a test dummy yourself for with and without to see the difference. 4 min runs or just till out of tp (after using invig once tho)
Really wish they'd just up the recast to 1 second just so the game isn't having such a fricking hard time keeping up with the inputs. Even with the noise trick, it is hit or miss.

I was 100% Mudra macro for a while, but now I manually use Ninjutsu.
You see, with a macro for, say, Suiton, it was:
Tick.....tick.....tick.....
Now that I do them manually, it's:
Tick..tick..tick

Many good reasons not to. You answered your own question.
If you're on PC and have issues with lag, getting a VPN such as Pingzapper or WTFast can help alleviate the issue slightly, or at least make them work more consistently. A VPN is not a miracle solution but it can have good results with some luck.

NEVER EVER macro your mudras if you want to be a good ninja. Ever.

Well other than the dps loss another reason not to macro your mundras is if you hit a lag spike they will fail. Then your stuck usually without huton for what feels like an eternity.
