Armoire Woes

Stuff I still can't put in my Armoire but would like to:

Mended Imperial Pot Helm
Mended Imperial Short Robe
Manderville Coatee
Manderville Bottoms
Peach Blossom Choker

I believe there are some others but these are directly affecting me the most.
Patch 2.55 did not address these.

There was a post a few weeks ago about this very thing. It was said the way the server rewrites data is in a certain amount of time. They expressed it in seconds but said the more you add to the Armoire the longer it would take to rewrite that code and the more stress it places on the server. In other words there not gonna be anything store-able unless something is changed for sure. I don't have a direct link but there was one on here.

I am aware of previous discussion (from players). That was before 2.55.
I have not heard any official response, however, obviously they are aware of it because in this current patch they now are allowing us to store the Christmas gear and the Lunar New Year's gear.
So changes are possible!

I created a new thread because they did something but I feel like it's not enough. I think we should be able to add a lot more.
I'm not too happy about all the "can't do this" and "server code that" responses.
I don't know about you, but my Armoire loads near-instantly. I wouldn't mind having to wait an extra second or two to access it every time if that would mean being able to store more things. And my internet isn't even all that great. My service is very slow bottom-of-the-barrel DSL, and my gameplay experience is pretty good.

That's the weakest excuse for something like this.

If they're running into extensibility issues NOW, those servers are going to be literally on fire 3 expansions later.

I feel I am starting to sound like a broken record, the amount of times I have listed these...
Weird thing is, if they know about these issues, why do they keep giving us clothing items that we cannot store and that have limited use otherwise... like every veteran item since rank 7, multiple wedding outfits, more seasonal events stuff, special events stuff like the Tokyo Gameshow 2014 earrings, community contest necklaces/earrings (Bluebird earring as most recent example), the Friendship circlet - which has the same function as the 2.0 preorder/CE hats, ALL the augmented AF gear which in essence could possible be set up to just replace the slot for old AF gear...
Forget 3 expansions, I seriously hope they'll do something drastic with Heavensward at the horizon, else 3 months down the line there will be fire everywhere. From the start they handled their servers badly, constantly having to use the serverload as excuse why we cannot have perfectly normal things that can be expected with features as they are. Granted, intitally they were overwhelmed by the amount of players, they just did not expect the game to do so well. But SE, seriously. it has been 1.5 years now. GET TO IT!

Yeah, this. To be honest, the way things are, it's like the servers already are on fire now. Have been, for a while. Really quite basic things are being dismissed, swept under the rug, with the excuse of all sorts of hardware limitations (server load, network infrastructure, bandwidth, etc). And it's simply ridiculous in 2015, coming from a company such as SE, especially when even f2p games can apparently do those exact same things - some even much better.
Things like this are being brought up over and over again, some pointing out the flaws, some (trying to) defend, and it always seems to die down and fade away... when really, basic things like damn item storage should not present such a challenge, especially when they do keep giving us more and more stuff to store - when it does, it's an ISSUE that should be talked about all the time and should be given top priority.


(REMOVE THIS BLOODY CHARACTER LIMIT TOO FOR SANITY'S SAKE!!!)

We need a mogsafe and mogstorage just like in FFXI that is expandable via quests and actual types of furnishing placed in room. We also need Gobbie Bag quests. Idk why they dont have something similar since day one.

For some items, you have the option of discarding and picking up from the calamity salvager.
Like my Usagi Kabutos, for example.

Wait. So the game can keep track of stuff the Calamity Salvager has for us, but adding current event and achievement item IDs to the armoire is a bridge too far?
