Regarding trash mobs in T11

So we make it to boss, pull. Person says he has to go so we gotta exit, find a replacement, reenter... guess what? Redo trash. We pull boss with replacement, our replacement is bad so we gotta exit and replace him... reenter, gotta do trash again. Someone DC and didn't come back when we make it back to the boss again... gotta leave, replace and redo trash.

Can't we have a shortcut that appears for like 1 hour after we exit the dungeon? At least give us a grace period to reenter without having to redo the trash before boss.

I mean not everyone in my linkshell is trained for T11 so we had to grab just 4 pugs... 4. And it was the worst experience ever. I know we should be running in a full premade but that just isn't always going to happen and the way this system is designed just begs to be trolled or well... I just got hit with a series of bad luck circumstances.

I realize BCoB had a lot of adds before the main fights but I wasn't really a part of BCoB as I joined FFXIV much later. I also understand with the removal of the lockout it may benefit SE to have these time sinks in place by completely removing the shortcut once you leave the dungeon. So maybe nothing can be done after all. Regardless of the reality, this was annoying as hell to me >_>

Several turns have done this in the past. It's hardly new. We got over it before. We'll get over it again. Find players willing to stick around longer so you don't have to leave as much.

Be grateful the trash was nerfed. With the removal of progression saving, T10 and T11 now work like a normal dungeon.

I started my coil experience in T9 since I joined FFXIV way later and when I made it to FCoB we only did adds once and were graced with a shortcut so this is actually my first experience with this kind of issue. It just feels like this kind of system has potential for a chain of circumstances to lead to a lot of wasted time as I had the mispleasure of just experiencing just now. I understand your advice but assuming I can easily and always find players willing to stick around and who are never ever going to disconnect or have sudden real life issues pull them away is kinda unreasonable. I am not always going to have access to that kind of stability and will sometimes need to turn to the public to fill some spots.

Regardless, judging by the replies in my post, this is actually accepted game design by the community so I shall get over it and simply avoid that coil at all costs unless I have a guaranteed stable group. I've never experienced it before so please forgive me if I have not been part of this 'done in the past' that you speak of.

They removed the lockout, how do you think of farming this first day after patch is simple like a fingersnap?
