Lag Spikes
No problem with my isp to my knowledge - Virgin Media.
Fps seems ok but it's dropped to 51-53 which is a bit less than normal.
I'm on Goblin server and play from the UK, do not usually have problems have ports forwarded sorted out after previous lag fest which seemed absolutely fine till now.
Sending is between 0-32, Receiving 3k-6k

Getting horrible lag spikes here aswell. (Also with Virgin Media.)
Getting around 4~10% packet loss on multiple tests, makes the game pretty horrendous to play.
Nothing quite like seeing characters jump around the screen.
Probably just Virgin Media having their usual issues with routing, hopefully it's not just us and can maybe get a few more posts here/on VM forums to get some attention on the matter.

I'm experiencing EXTREME lag in chocobo racing making it impossible to play and also dungeons, I'm with Virgin Media, Balmung Server, UK.
It was fine before the update!

I can also confirm that im having alot of random lag spikes since the update and that i am also on virgin media x_x

Me as well. Virgin media and massive lag spikes since the patch. getting like 10 or 15 a minute. games is currently not enjoyable. or playable. Such a shame i can't farm coil with my friends.

Currently having problems with the game, getting about 30% packet loss on average with random disconnects (90002) every 3-15 minutes, making the game unplayable, I can't even finish the current story quests let alone raid.
If a tech support replies, I will be able to provide more technical details.

I'm on Virgin media too in the UK but play on Balmung, NA, and it's quite unplayable at the moment. All ping tests to various servers around the world are showing normal results (good ping, stable, no packet loss), even playing other games is fine, it's just FF14.
Stats to NA data centre:
Avg ping: 93ms
Packet Loss: 0%
Highest ping: 107ms
Given the issue does not show up on the ping tests, I would conclude the problem is with Square's end, not the ISP itself. If connections to the server were being throttled by Virgin, that would show up in the ping test. It's like data is reaching the datacentre, and then the data centre is mishandling the connection. Especially since people are reporting this issue with both NA and EU data centres, which are seperate IPs

Another Virgin Media customer having nasty lag spikes since the patch.
All other web usage seems to be fine apart from FFXIV.

I am also a virgin media customer and the game is currently unplayable. It started with numerous lag spikes every 45 seconds or so but now I cant even stay logged in for more than 5 minutes. Ive tried everything I can think of to fix the issue. All other internet browsing and games are fine, its just ffxiv I am having problems with since the patch.

Same here, Virgin Media customer in the UK (North East). massive lag spikes, various activities take 2-3 seconds to respond, people warping all over the place. random disconnects. It appears to be since the patch but I havn't been on that last few days. Seems to be an ISP issue.
