I see all 3 parts of the casting call the winners were only from the JP servers, except for 1. What happened to all the entries from the NA/EU data centers? It doesn't seem quite fair that only 1 region players won.

While I normally would be the first to say that this is unfair, the 2.4 winners were mostly from NA/EU servers with there only being one from the Japanese server Titan. But then I saw the 2.5 winners and all of them were from the JP datacenter too...
I can't even remember seeing the announcement to even enter but looking at it, it seems strange that they don't evenly split the regions. Like if there are four, they randomly give one to each region and then toss up the last one.
2.4 winners

edit, All JP servers, except cactuar.
That is 1 winner out of the whole contest that was from a NA server.
The actual announcement for the contest came waaaaaaaaaaayy back in August 2014. Up to 14 people were to be chosen for the contest; 7 were picked in the first round, 3 in the second, and 4 in the last. Of those 14, only 1 comes from an NA server, and no one from any EU server.
Depending on how they went about it, it could still be RNGesus trying to stir up trouble. I'd hope that the judges weren't given the player names or servers, and that all character comments were translated first so that location bias wouldn't figure into the selection process....
Too hopeful?
Oh wow, THAT notice. I remember seeing that one but I thought that that was only for the 2.4. XD
Yeah, let's hope that RNGesus was stirring up trouble, but it certainly doesn't seem so now. Not like we'll ever get any confirmation or acknowledgment about what appears to be blatant bias.
Like other contests it should be more fair like each region has an equal number of winners. Otherwise the winners can be very lopsided like what has happened with this.
