Suggestion to revoke the the bonus if new player leave the dungeon or raid.

New player can leave the Instance without penalty if they being bullied and the bonuses will be revoked.
Need more idea for anti newbie harassment and to make this game more enjoyable.
I agree nobody care because the bonus is not that much, how about if we double the value?
And new player can give extra commendation.

Extra commendation can be a good Idea, more on the soldiery bonus would be useless in my opinion, Soldiery are already nearly useless for all I know.
But first, is this can be abused ?

Usually, newbie are abused, but if the newbie is the abuser, then they can troll, get kicked and come back instantly to troll again...
We'll see if this is implemented...

The bonus is revoked anyway if a newbie leaves, also if i remembe right the bonus is added if a newbie joins an instance in progress. But its been a while since i've had a newbie quit on me so i might be mistaken 0_o

last i checked, when a newbie left, the bonus already got removed.

To prevent a newbies from being an abuser can make a certain rule also.
If they leave the same instance in 2 consecutive time less than 30 min can get the penalty or their penalty are lessen.

What I wish DF have a specific option for newbies only, for veteran player they can choose either want a quick run or normal run with newbies.

After seeing some of the newbies complaint, it make me wonder what is the best solution for them to enjoy the game. I'm also considered newbies but mostly for first run I do with my FC mates, so I'm not having an issue with the cutscene. I'm wonder about others, how they feel if they being forced to skip cutscene and being ignored because of lack experience.

How petulant. This is completely unnecessary.
If you're so caring for newbies, you take out your own time to take them through a dungeon so they can watch everything, there, problem solved, we can all go home now.
People work different ways, who cares, your way isn't their way? Tough, deal with it or leave, no need to make a scene, we're not twelve.

Or you can continue whining and expecting everything and everyone to cater to you and your needs, desires and methods of operation, good luck with that.

If this problem is really gonna get fixed, they need to disable cutscene skipping for the entire party if there's a newbie present, increase the bonus a fair bit to still make it worth the extra few minutes a Prae run is gonna take you, and perhaps give the newbie an extra commendation or two to hand out so that people who do help out get something in return.

That's why I'm asking in my second post to made 2 separate run for both parties.

Why you so worried about newbies "to cater to you and your needs, desire and method of operation"?. Or you want all newbies to follow all your need for your speed runs? we can use this "to cater to you and your needs, desire and method of operation" term to you also.

Everyone's talking about newbies like they'r some kind of endangered species which people are hunting for.
Newbies or not newbies they are all people, assholes can be newbies or veterans or anything in-between.

Through leveling of all my classes to 50 I met more newbies acting like assholes than anything else.
And when it comes down to fresh 50 dungeons it's often even worse.
Newbies trying to teach you the game because they did something once (or watched an outdated video) and think that's the only way to do things.
Refusing to listen to anything you say to them.
Or just throwing some other outrageous bullshit at you because they think they'r some kind of special snowflakes and they get to do as they please.

So, no I don't see why there needs to be more unnecessary newbie protection in favor of the newbies.
Where it is people that take/waste their own time on helping newbies out which should be the ones that get protection/rewards.

I do think the game itself does need to teach newbies the ropes better though and make it clear that it's a team game and that they will have to work with the team and not see the team as some kind of slaves that are there to do their bidding.

Simply put, because they're the ones who are often left behind as the rest of us progress.

It's easy to forget that we have to start somewhere and while many of us were able to enjoy the story because we leveled alongside people doing the same quests at the same time, newcomers don't have that luxury. They enter a game where people only run low level dungeons because they can get high-end rewards, and are forced into speed runs they're ill-equipped to handle or made to skip every cutscene in the game because the tanks have rushed on ahead.

I agree that something needs to be done to make this game more friendly towards new players, though at this point it's difficult to say what can be done. Most of the problem isn't the mechanics it's down to player attitudes and changing those is never an easy task.
