Increase Cluster Gathering/Spawn Rate

I might be the only one, or perhaps I'm just voicing the opinions of many but gather Clusters is the biggest pain in the world.

Shards and Crystals which do not have much of a limit for gathers and the fact I can send my retainers to go get them, Clusters require large amount of time to get. you can obtain 105 Clusters in an hour.

As a Culinary this is not enough especially for 3/4 star foods where I would burn through that in 10 minutes. Not only that I would technically need another 105 for the other half of shards so 2 hours total in Clusters. I'm not discounting the fact you have 6 different elements to get to, calculating it out at a maximum it would take

96 hours to gather 10k fire/ clusters
112 hours to gather the rest resulting in a total of 640 hours to max your clusters.

I would purpose for having the Cluster gathers be taken off the undiscovered nodes or increase the nodes spawn rates to one ever one or two in game hours.

So much time gathering them T.T

I see you've gone for the dramatic and exaggerated how many clusters you can use in a 10 minute window. As someone that crafts a lot, and knows the profit margins, I see your complaint as pointless. If you don't like doing it yourself, this being an MMO, it might be possible finding someone to gather on your behalf at a discounted rate. They get a regular income, avoid the annoying MB under cutters, and you get a supply of something you clearly dislike gathering yourself. Or just bite the bullet and buy them from the MB.

Yeah you're definitely exaggerating :P 3/4star crafts take a good minute or two to complete because they usually end up being 30-40 steps.. You can't burn through that much clusters that quick.

But in reply to Darra, On smaller servers, clusters actually do have a severe shortage. It's not hard to find, but there's usually only ~5-10 listing of each type on the MB and prices aren't the most competitive.. Stack sizes are also pretty small.. Between 10-50. But if you ARE a cluster farmer in this situation, it's very easy to sell, which means you won't be able to contract somebody to give you a deal, they don't have trouble selling it at all.

But having said that, I've just been buying up clusters whenever it goes below ~1300-1400 and I now have about 200-300 of each type.. Why you'd want to max it out at 9999 each I don't understand.. You're never gonna burn through all of that unless you specialize specifically in 3-4 star mat crafting (ancient lumber, terminus putty, etc.) Good luck finding a market for 5000 finished 4 star product.

If there's a low supply on clusters then the odds are that there's also not a particularly strong market for the food items either. Given that you "could" get 120 clusters every 1hour5 minutes, this is enough for 30-40 food items, which coincidentally will take you approximately 1 hour to craft.

When it comes to adjusting spawn rates or gathering quantities, it should be looked at in terms of quantity gathered vs quantity used, across all servers. Some servers will always have an abundance whilst others will have a low supply rate. 1 person complaining because they're able to gather 10x the amount of shards per hour than they can clusters, is kind of meaningless because it's ignoring the fact that the gathering rates are reflected in the quantities that are used for each recipe: recipes which use shards can use upwards of 40 per item (when crafting completely from scratch), vs an average of 3-4 for a 3/4star craft.

That's 100k an hour for me. :P I like the way it is now.
