Two Words... Vanity Armour

OK I'm not one to be bothered much about how my character looks, but when everyone seems to be wearing near enough the same gear and the same combinations it gets a bit boring. Can we not have two armour sets? one for the stats we want and one for how we want to look? I'd love to wear a pointy mage hat with some hefty body armour etc... but instead I'm resigned to wearing the setup that everyone else is. For instance the armours, bronze, iron etc are almost the same barring colour differences and a bit more added to the R48 iron set but apart from that I've basically been staring at my character wearing some form of hauby for the past 30 levels.

At least in XI there were various choices of armour to wear and they looked very different but in XIV it just seems to be rince repeat with a different colour.
