Will we eventually have support for Directx 12?

To the developers, will we eventually get support for Directx 12? I know this question was asked recently, but in light of recents news, DX11 has a massive short coming compared to DX12. DX12 will unlock multi core cpu's to use with a gpu, which DX11 doesn't have such ability.

No, but seriously, we don't even have the DX11 client yet. Heck, DX12 ain't even available yet either. Moot point asking about it now, imo.

Probably not until the next expansion at the earliest. We're getting DX11 with Heavensward and the DX12 APIs won't be finalized until well after release (Microsoft aiming for an end of Summer to October release date).

Seriously doubt it considering they only gonna be releasing the DX11 client sometime this year, and it not like they upgraded ffxi that been running DX9.0c but am not a programmer so I couldn't even imagine how hard or easy it would be to do.
