Battle Music: Option to turn it off

Please for the love of dog fluff I want to hear the lovely area music not DUN DUN DA DUN constantly. Please YoshiP, let us turn that shit off. :(

They do this in the newer dungeons.

Ya, it gets old after awhile.

Ever since release this is the feature I want most. Yes I like to listen to my own music too but its 50/50.

A toggle, just like for Chocobo music. That's all it has to be.

You know you also have the option to just mute the background music in the game, all of it.
I do that frequently when listening to my own music (like right now). I leave sound effects on and ambient sounds too since I like/use them.

I suppose they mean they'd like to keep the area's background music while they fight. I like Coerthas' area music, but dread Coerthas' battle music. I wish I could fight with the former.
