Newer Player Question!

Hello everyone, Just installed the game a few days ago and running the trial atm.

OKAY, Combat seems really delayed.. Not sure if it's lag or not.. I'm playing an Archer and the spells don't seem to deal damage instantly like you would think. I cast a spell, it fires, it hits the target damage numbers pop up but the Healthbar does not lower as soon as the damage shows up. I even installed WTFast and it honestly felt like it made things worse and it kept saying that the settings were wrong after I had set it up to do it's automatic setup. Any info would be most welcomed! Thanks in advanced.
