Less robes, please

I am pretty tired of many of these frilly robes that many mages must have to wear throughout the game.

While I never played FF11, some of the mage gear look pretty nice in their simplicity; dare i say practicality:

Not saying that they should stop making robes, but it would be nice to see more stylized short robes and bliauds for the sake of variety. Just because we're mages doesn't mean we should be covered from head to toe with cloth

I adored the Goetia set (that's the last one there). Wore it forever.

not only robes but can we get some more heavy armor that looks like heavy armor and less long coats/ skirts? (and that looks good....not that wolfram/darksteel/darklight heavy armor)

I like that last one. Minus the hat, anyway.

I'd kill for more FFXI style robes because at least then my fem roeg won't clip to every bleeding thing she wears that goes past her knees. >_<

Can SE stop making me look like a fool? (sch) seriously.... Willy wanka... This is why once I have my Ironworks 130 body, I'm a just keep it different colors of glamour. That and my awesome oasis gear from GS.

I'd agree, and add less coats/highboots combos in general. Not just mages, ALL jobs' latest endgame gear seems to be a variation of always the same style. Long coat and high boots, high boots and long coat. Every freaking where.

>_> While we're on the topic of mage stuff. Can we get more skirts for mages? It seems a good portion of skirts go to melee/tanks, while mages are stuck with two (three if you count the halloween one). Or preferably, skirts with thigh highs on them, sort of like the GC one or the boarskin skirt
