Veteran Rewards Issue (and unhelpful SE Support person)

I contacted SE Customer Support regarding my Veteran Rewards status being "off"...

Agent Melinda: The 30 Day Free Trial was indeed applied when you registered the game on the account.
You: The current rewards are for 720 days right?
You: So, since other players have that already, and we've been playing (and paying) the same time, minus 30 days, shouldn't I be at 690 days then?
Agent Melinda: You can only receive it, if you were consistently paying with no pauses of somesort. It is possible you may have missed a subscription in between. There is nothing I can do here to provide you that Veteran Reward. Please wait until your next renewal date. I do apologize for the inconvenience. I was going to respond that I have not missed any payments in my subscription, in fact, I've been subscribed since Day 1 of 1.0. I'm unhappy that because the PS3 CE purchase gave me 30 "free" days I now am 30 days behind everyone else for rewards; however, that's not the full case as I tried to explain.

Sorry SE, but I want to know how I get my account "caught up" in your system. As it stands, I consistently have to wait nearly half a year to get the rewards other players get the day they're released. Just fix it!!!

Sorry, but like it says on the Veteran Rewards page, they're for subscribed game time, this isn't an error, you got 30 days free, that's not subscribed time.

If it makes you feel any better, my 1.0 character is from the PC, but I since added PS3 and PS4 so I'm 60 days behind a lot of people (I haven't even got the Fat Chocobo head yet!). I know it didn't give you an option as to having the free time or not, but that's just how their system does it and personally I'd rather have had free month/save some money even if I have to wait a little longer!

Your only option is to just wait until your next subscription period, or add/pay by game timecard now (because timecards add to your subscribed status straight away)
