After farming for 20+ days on Indolent Imperial, I finally got Fenrir this morning. I made a post about it over on Reddit, but was immediately met with hostility for saying I was first to get one on Excalibur (which I only even pointed out because I'm never first in like anything and I just thought that was cool, lol).

Anyway, I'm just glad we finally have one on our world now and I want to thank whoever kept me company while doing this since you managed to save what little sanity I had left, heh.

Congratulations on getting it. Most likely i'll never have one of these lol. Enjoy, it's great looking ^^

Well, at least someone gets it, haha. They were all quick to think I was an elitist or something because of what I said. I'm just never going to be part of the group that ever clears the newest and hardest content first for a server or anything like that, so it was nice to finally be known for something at least. Some people were so quick to shoot me down because this didn't take "skill" to do, just time.

I guess a part of me is kind of frustrated with them for putting it like that though. While I don't believe it was particularly difficult to farm MGP on Indolent Imperial, I would stay up for 10 hours or more on the game each day and did this for 20+ days consecutively (actually pushed for 27 hours once I hit 800k because I wanted to knock off a couple of days before the Jumbo this week in case someone won it and got a Fenrir before me >:3). I just think it takes a certain amount of stubbornness and tenacity to put yourself through something like that and it should tell you that's the kind of person you'd want in a raid or FC because you know when they make up their mind to do something, they're dedicated and are going along for the whole ride, and won't abandon when things get difficult.

I just wish some of these guys weren't so quick to piss on my parade and just let me have my 15 minutes of fame. On that note though, I'm going to get some much needed rest, heh.

I saw you in Mor Dhona today! Congrats on your achievement and thank you for farming it! I really wanted to see one and he is as magnificent as I expect! ^o^
