Crafting the master book II with lucis tool

Hi everyone,

I have all the Lucis now except for Culinarian. I took a break when 4 star first came out and just came back about a month and a half ago. I decided last night that I would get all my 4 star books. I have lucis so on my offhands I went all control and 3 cp. All the rotations I could find had 2 rapid synths in them. When I do this I complete the synth. After trying to change this rotation I lost about 16 field demi 3. Does anyone know a good rotation with lucis? I have about 470 craftsmanship. I tried to do a couple careful 2 at the end but it wasn't enough. I work alot so I don't have the time to do crafting simulators and what not.

How much craftmanship do you have exactly?


With 470 craftmanship you can use 2 PbP + 2 Rapid under Ing II, with a single CF (no need for ingen on it) at the end. At 474+ it would finish the synthesis with no more room for the CF.

Crafting simulators are very simple and fast to use. I would suggest giving one a try:

The synth does complete after 2 pbp and 2 rapid. That's my issue.

You could run the rapid synths without Ingenuity 2. Then finish the craft with a Standard Synthesis.
Only thing you have to note is that you want to have SH on before you cast Standard Synth, which won't be too much of an issue since you'll already have it for Byregots, just gotta make it last 1 step longer, thus 1 less step for baiting.

For 3- and 4-star crafts, the value of Ing 2 REALLY comes into question. It costs a whopping 32 CP, and the benefits it provides to your Synthesis steps drops off considerably from what it could do for you at 1- and 2-star.

I no longer even keep Ing II on my cross-class skillset, though occasionally I'll swap it in if I want to do some quick-'n'-dirty 1- or 2-star HQs.

I was looking at some rotations and realize ing2 is obsolete now. When I took a break it was basically the wn2 hasty touch rotation. I have that so ingrained in my head. It will be nice to use something other than ing2.
