I will never forget this fiasco, SE

SE first expansion:

1. SE charge the UK more than the US and JP. Convert currency, the UK have to pay 23275,36 JPY while the US and JP pay 15756,53 ( i believe the JP pay less around 15k ?), eu 16757,05 JPY

2. SE Eu store went down for 48h, up for....5 min & down again

3. SE claim there is limit supply for EU but allow to pre-order 5 min before the set time.

Went down for 48 hours? I actually ordered digital CE yesterday. Unless today's thursday it sure wasn't down for 48 hours.

(You aren't talking about the physical CE since you're mentioning...)

I think you shouldn´t only consider the exchange rates, but more the average income of a country...

Bulgaria´s average income lies between 200-300 Euros, yet they pay the same price for gasoline as me, where the average income here lies by 1500+ (net.)

You get free shipping certain parts of NA have to pay upwards to 40$ for their standard 2-7 day shipping so take that in mind also!

Also keep in mind different local fees, import taxes, and the new EU VAT laws that's went into effect in January. All these affect the price of the same game in various countries

My country is not even supported for physical boxes shipping. I have to wait for retailers to bring the physical box if I want to buy it. The other choice is to buy the digital download but no physical cookies included. Btw the store was down for almost 2 days cause of technical problems. Most tech companies selling things in EU without converting currencies. 1 USD = 1 EURO. This applies in smartphones, tablets, pc parts, games and more. I read somewhere that they do this in order to maintain stable income because if they convert it they need to change the price too often as the economy is not something stable and currency rates change all the time. Also include the variouis VAT and local fees on top. And ofc this is a nice excuse to increase the profits. It's not fair but nothing is fair in this world anyway. I wouldn't call this a fiasco though. We still have 3 whole months left till expansion gets released.
