Hi, I preordered heavensward for pc but I switch between pc and ps4 how will that effect me? Do I absolutely have to buy 2 copies of the expansion or will it be fine with it on 1?

Yes they stated you will have to buy 2 copies one for each system you play on.

And by the way...it's no different than how you ended up buying 2 copies of the game to be able to play on both platforms in the first place. You're doing the same thing, only this time, it's for the expansion material/access to expansion areas.
I was kinda curious about this when I heard today. It just seems like a lot of work to get some more money out of the customer, but maybe it's worth it to them?
The reason I think so is sorta based on a couple scenarios. Say that I don't have the expansion on the PS4 but I have it on PC and I own both version (it could also be you accessing from a friend's machine). If the avatar is in the new area or has the gem for the new job does it just teleport you out or unequip it if you sign on from a different machine? Just seems kinds confusing to me.
