I was going through some old photos that I had taken back when I was playing this on the PS3 and I came across a photo of the one time I saw a rainbow in Eorzea. Has anybody else seen this? Is it rare? Could it have just been an illusion?!

Yes i saw one about a month ago over the waters in the MIst. Not sure if I got the pic out not. Only seen 1 mayb 2 since I started in 1.0
o.O You know I don't think I've ever seen one personally. I know if I had I would have stopped to admire it for a bit. I had no idea we had rainbows.
I remember in FFXI when rainbows would appear in a specific zone, that was because somewhere a Summoner was getting his/her carbuncle (if I remember right).
Yeah If you seen a rainbow in La Theine a summoner was born lol, oh the memories of running from the crag and seeing a new summoner on the server
I've seen a couple of them, both near Wineport.

Strange... I only see them when my Lala is riding his unicorn mount.
I've seen a bunch, but I'm also gay, so they tend to follow me around.

They happen in Hullbreaker all the time since the rainy final boss weather gets resolved when he's defeated.
