Verified PayPal cannot Continue Payment

Ever since UGC discontinued their cards, and SE removed the option for paypal from their store originally, it has been a nightmare and a half trying to stay subscribed or pay for anything, be it adding crysta, or just the normal FFXIV subscription fee.

Game cards are rare and hard to come by, my local game stop only stocks one card and takes nearly a month just to restock the item. Two months ago, shortly before SE announced the Paypal option to come back, I went through SE's store and was able to purchase a 60 day card with my paypal account. Note, this was the shadiest transaction from any "official" store I have bought from, but regardless, I got my time card within 24 hours and was able to play again.

My time runs out today, I go to the Mog Station happy to finally never have to deal with the drama of subscribing to the game, and actually being able to pay for my retainers no problem. I was very wrong. Log in from my first verified paypal, requires me to add a Credit/Debit to the account. The entire purpose to even use paypal in the first place is because I don't have a Credit/Debit card, and not having to deal with the hassle of SE not taking my prepaid cards. Log into my brother's account to pay, same thing. Both paypals are verified, but have access to my bank account, or my brother's back account.

Yes this is a rant, but two months ago I bought a prepaid card just fine without the need of a card attached to my account, now I can't continue because I need a credit card...which defeated the entire purpose of paypal.

What other option is there? The door?

I am experiencing the exact same issue. This is frustrating as hell. I've never had such a difficult time trying to pay for a subscription to a game till SE.
