problem with slopes and inclines

I've noticed when I run down a slope or up an incline (basically most things that aren't flat) my character kind of vibrates up and down a little bit and so does the camera. It's bugged the hell outta me since I started playing so could something be done about it please?

It happens because your camera is at the absolute maximum distance from your character. If you bring it a little bit closer the shaking should stop. It's definitely unintended behaviour but there isn't much else we can do about it.

This 'feature' appeared during the middle of the beta period, before that there was no such nasty juddering, for some reason SE seem to think this isn't a problem.

This was fix in one of the patch but i guess it was never really fix i hope SE can look at this issue again.

Funny thing is if I don't play with camera at max pan out I get a slight stutter which is more noticable when running through narrow gaps (as in the walls jump slightly like they're lagging, but my character dosen't) as soon as I pan out to max everything runs silky smooth except for slopes. I guess I'll just have to live with it...

notice your character tends to hover on jagged area's of the map and is flat on the ground where no such jagged ground exists? that's whats causing the annoying jitter it has nothing to do with the camera or slopes although its worse on slopes because for some odd reason the character model takes a few Milliseconds to connect to the ground while going down slopes.

PC Character models also seem to be abstracted from the world, while NPC Models seem to fit right in.

OP i get this problem also. i find that zooming the cam in a little stops it, if you cam is zoomed all the way out it gets jumpy

Yeah thats another annoying thing, when you stand on an un even area you seem to float above the ground. I'm used to that from XI but the jitter iritates me the most.

It's also jump first-person, my preferred view much of the time.
