World of Darkness - Unable to interact with Cerberus chain fetters

Steps:
The Cerberus fight was progressing normally up until the point that Cerberus had to be chained. I picked up the chain on the right (as seen when facing the exit of the Cerberus room) and went to attach it to the fetter on Cerberus' left side. When I got closer, however, I discovered that the fetter was actually located in the ground because of the way Cerberus was positioned. (It was facing toward the entrance of the area, located toward the near right corner when, again, facing the exit of the Cerberus room.)

As I had never seen the attachment point clip into the ground before, I did try to move around to get a better angle to attach the chain and changed my camera angle, but no matter what I did, I would get an error message along the lines of "Interaction Point is Too Far Below You" or something. Following the wipe, someone in my party mentioned that it might have been because my character model was too short (Dunesfolk lalafell female at the lowest height setting), but I have attached the chain without any issue before.
