Okay, so I went to get on the game and the load screen appeared very briefly, then went to black screen with the 1014 error in thread title.

This is not a "server too busy" error because when the server is busy I get a queue that says something like 17 people in queue or something like that. I'm on PS4 and I logged off last night in the Black Shroud, either North Shroud or New Gridania, don't remember.

It's almost like it's not even detecting the server. Has anyone else had this issue? I don't remember if 1014 was that infamous error that plagued the game's launch or if that was a different number. Been a long time since then. Even more weird is that the game is never this busy on a week day early in the day while many are at work and school. Even during busy times there's a queue.

Apparently, this has been an on going issue for slightly over 12 hours now? I do hope they resolve it soon.

I currently can't log in. The page the loader ... loads : http://frontier.ffxiv.com/arr_win/in...=2015-03-12-19 - is showing no data received in Chrome.

Oh okay, thank you. I did check the Lodestone first before coming to the forums to post but somehow missed that. So it seems to only be affecting Leviathan.That's a bummer. :( Good thing they keep backups in case something fatal has happened to the Leviathan servers.
