Online Store rant.

-I pay for the downloadable version of ffxiv through their online store linked to me from the Mog Station.

-I get 'Thanks' page, 'wait for confirmation email and registration code'.

-Nothing in email for 24 hours.

-Another day passes. Call customer support, 20 minutes go by, total of at least 50 'all other representatives are currently busy helping other customers, please continue to hold or visit our website at square.na.square.enix.square-enix-su...quare-enix.com'

-*3 hours later at work on break* Repeat previous step. Hang up. Call again. 'Don't have an account under the name you gave me.' Hang up. Call again. Different representative sees purchase on his end. Order number get. "Escalate" my case.

-Right now. Still no email.

tl;dr, Square Enix has so many people buying ffxiv (downloadable version), I can only assume they are busy all day physically shipping out downloadable versions (not disc copies) of their game and I probably won't get mine until it arrives in 2-3 weeks with dat expedited shipping.

link to the Client Download. once you purchase the Download version the game is registered to the account you purchased it on.
you will get a Game Launcher run that it will download game and install.

Edit- I had 1.0 and had this issue. finding the download link was a pain at the time.
