Refer a friend question.

How do I do this? I am planning to renew my sub soon and my friend is gonna start playing as well, I wanted to figure this out before that though so I know what to do. But in the mog station under account and account services I don't see anything that would give me a code to have him use. So how do I do this?

There should be a page on mog station that will let you send you friend an email and that is where they will get it.

Go to "Your account" and "Recruit a friend".

That's the thing. I click your account and there is no recruit a friend tab.

You don't have the "Recruit a Friend" button there at all?

Even if you've used it once, it should still be there.
Otherwise, that would be kind of odd not to have it.

Instead of recruit a friend, mine says enter recruitment code. I also don't have the retainer service thing yours has. Do I need an active sub for all of this to show up? Mine ran out recently and have not yet renewed it.

Yes, I believe you would need an active sub for all of this to work. That seems to be the logical answer in this case.

The idea is that if your friend stays subscribed for 90 days, you get the special dual-rider chocobo. You get the friendship circlet first at 30 days.

I would assume that yes you do need to have an active sub in order to recruit, but I wouldn't know, I've never unsubbed. My mog station looks just like Kaitlen's.
