iLvL 122 PLD looking for FC with older players (age 25+)

I came back to ffxiv at 2.4 after being gone since 1.0. Ive been mostly playing solo. Im 32 years old and have extensive gaming experience. For years ive lead my own raiding guilds in various MMO's. However, I have been hoping to get away from leading a guild this time around because of how much time it requires, and also, frankly, because Im a bit burned out/drained from it at this point. I would love to be a contributing member to a good FC. What Im looking for: Older, or at least very mature players. An FC that is small, focused, and doesn't zerg recruit. Competent players, but not elitist attitudes. Smart, active, and experienced leadership who have a clear vision for the FC. I am open to small, new, or up coming fc's. Ive been in the start up phase of guilds many times and would enjoy contributing to the foundation of a new FC. Building friendships and enjoying content progression in a fun environment is my focus. I dont consider myself super hardcore, like I may have in the past. If any of this sounds like a good fit, get in touch :)

These forums limit threads to 1000 characters so I had to cut my thread heavily to fit. If some of these basic things I have touched on sound like a good fit for your FC, then hit me up. I am not against transferring servers for the right FC. Choosing an FC is something I take somewhat serious given the amount of time that is invested, so I want a good fit. Since Ive come back to the game Ive had a hard time finding an FC that fits what Im looking for. Feel free to get in touch with me and lets chat. Im very easy going and open minded.

In terms of content, I have cleared everything except coil, which Ive only cleared up to turn 5 (just puging it via duty finder). Playing solo, without an fc, I have focused on everything else up to this point. When I rejoined the game at the 2.4 patch I was level 23 on my highest class so I had a lot to catch up on the past couple months. My pld is nearing max gear with a couple more slot upgrades (aside from bis coil gear). In 3 or so more weeks Pld will be around ilvl 128ish. Whm and Sch are sitting around ilvl 105 at the moment

Hi! I'm not sure if we're exactly what you're looking for, but my FC's players are all between the ages of 25-35. Some of us are MMO vets; others are lifelong FF fans. We're small but active daily, and we like to have fun (no elitists). Most players are iLvl 110+ and working on various things. We recently bought property in Mist. Im also still very open to hearing from some other FC's. Ive been a bit surprised at how little response myself and others looking for a good FC have gotten. Ive even resorted to the odd shout here and there to try and generate some talks with FC's with little luck. Ive gotten a million blind invites however, which immediately turns me off to an FC. So again, feel free to leave a response here to contact me directly in game and lets talk. Ideally, I would LIKE to have a few options to consider.

Tried to search you multiple times yesterday shinra and never saw you online. I will try again this evening or on the weekend.

Also still wanting to hear from some other FC's as well. It seems the only interest most fc's are showing these days are to send out blind invites. Really disappointed to see very little traditional recruiting being put into practice.

Bummer! I was online last night when my whole party got booted for maintenance. I'll keep an eye out for you when I'm online later this evening (I'm on PST).

Ive searched you everytime Im online and never seeing you online Shinra. Ill keep trying and hopefully catch you online.

Not getting any response at all in my search for an FC aside from the blind invites, or the pre-typed mass tell spam some FC's do. Seems so many poorly ran FC's around. Really disappointed in the offerings so far. Im starting to consider just moving servers in the hopes of a better outlook.

We are a casual and laid back FC that enjoys all aspects of the game. We do everything from crafting to raiding. We also enjoy helping the newer players progress in the game and catching them up to speed.

We have 1 static group for FCoB progressing on T11. Another working on SCoB T9 (still looking to fill their ranks)

We do a Primal Ex run at least once a week and try to do more laid back events like weekly tower runs so everyone in the FC can join.

We have a small house in Lavender Beds where everyone hangs out to idle or craft.

We have many master crafters in the FC so everyone is taken care of and don't have to pay MB prices!

We have 23 members now w/ 10+ active every day. We would like to keep our FC smallish and aim to cap at 50 members. We want our FC to remain a tight knit group and don't want anyone to feel like just a number. Everyone in our group is 18+ and pretty chill w/ a good sense of humor.

Pandapause, thanks for the reply. If I am unable to find what im looking for here on my server I will definitely be looking for a new server. As of now im still solo. If it comes to the point of looking to another server I will definitely revisit this thread and look you up.
