I have friends on a different data center and I was going to make a character on the Primal Data Center/Ifrit Server. I currently am in the Aether Data Center and when creating a new character I saw no option to switch to the Primal Data Center. (I could only pick Aether servers) I play on PC of course, so if anyone has an idea of how to do so please let me know!
You have to select the data center before the character select screen. Right after you log in, you will see 5 menu options: Start, Data Center, Opening Movie, Config, and Exit. Just select the Data Center option and then choose the Primal center when prompted.
at the main menu after you put in your username/password, there's a 'data center' option, hit that first and select the data center you want, THEN go create the character on the server you want.
