Now, I wouldn't mind giving her (And Zidane, and Cloud, and Lightning, and any other characters from other games) a 'legendary hero' race, but that's just me...

Isn't that essentially the case with Shiva in this game too? and she's a primal.

as far as gamebreaking or abusing the system I don't even really think it would; would just be a nice nod to that story element from 6.

Wait, what are you checking on lodestone? If I've beaten t12 or not? I have, just not on that character. Ali's my str/mnd job character and ended up being more of a crafter than raider, and I raid on NIN. Check Vlewing Cutscene if you really think it's that relevant that I have that win to come in here and say that. Though to be fair I pay so little attention to cs's, even though that one was pretty epic.
