Yeah, and the music matches too.
*Fangasm* Eeee
Yeah, it would appear that "The Floating Continent" that's present in Heavensward isn't just going to share a name.
There's some theorizing going on that it'll be our next 24-man raid series.
Yeah. I believe it'll be our 24-man raid as well. The floor patterns as well as the structures shown are EVERY allag-like. The grey-ish floors + the blue neon all over the place give it away to be honest.
I wouldn't be surprised if they mix up the FF6 lore with Allag Lore. Allags had many Emperors and Floating Continent was raised into the sky by an Emperor and Kefka if I remember correctly.
Yoshida's has already stated in the past that the 24-man raid will not be taken from a previous FF game, and that he doesn't want to establish a precedent for "nostalgia raids" as the only 24-man content FFXIV has. But now we have this.
I'm thinking that this may be our next Praetorium, or at the very least our next Mor Dhona. But I have no idea how, yet, and by now it's safe to say that any time they drop speculation-bait like this the real answer is always something totally outside the information they've given us beforehand.
Looks at Crystal Tower. Then looks at Cloud of Darkness. Then looks at the ground. Then looks up... wtf Floating Continent.....
Are you sure he said that? Cause I'm just not feeling it.
Now I'm off to contain my excitement. Bad assery OTW.

Think of it this way: if it's not the next CT, then it actually gets to be a meaningful part of the storyline. That should be a good thing, right?
Oh please, everyone knows that it'll be a quick 20 minute dungeon that you steamroll once, never to again return unless the roulette gods deem it so.
