New relics?

I'm guessing those weapons that were showed off with the new AF2 gear were the Heavensward Relics(New relic 3.0)?

The weapons sure look fancy as heck, they may very well be the new relic/special weapons!

In all honesty, i rather look at this thread than yours. If you are going to troll in the thread I won't be interested in it.

I doubt very much that those are the new relics, more likely is the weapon set upgrade from augmented ironworks or something. The weapons seem to keep with the theme of the outfit sets shown and as such just like previous token aka soldiery/poetics etc type weapons it will be the 3.0 version of them. Relic weapons are not designed to match the design of set armours like the soldiery or poetic ones do.

They could be the i70 weapon equivalents of Heavensward. The i70 weapons are crafted gear that was used in many promotional artwork in place of relics and were useful to have when starting out the relic questline when the game 1st launched.

If they were the Relics you'd think they'd make a bigger deal at showing them off/ talking about them

Considering the only katana in the game is the Ninja relic I would gather that the second katana will also be a Ninja relic.

Some of the weapons look really similar to the current relics... which scares me ;-;

Of course that are the relics.
Back when Realm Reborn was within it's closed beta and they launched their first job video where we all could see our beloved Paladin, Whitemage, Monk, Bard and Co. for the first time, they all had equiped their relics. And if I remember correctly the Ninja aswell was shown in videos very early with his relic. For me, there's no space to doubt these are the new relics. In class Videos, SE usually uses the propper relics.
