Question about Paladin Novus

So I'm sure it has been asked a lot so sorry but I'm planning to do this with my Novus

Sword : 22 Parry 22 Accuracy 9 DET
Holy Shield: 8 Parry 8 ACC 6 DET

Both to save some gil and have some flexibility is this good bad awful? I don't really plan to do content progressively as I take my time bUT still one day would like to do FCoB and other end game stuff

Parry sucks. Put on crit if you need a third stat to save money.

This question gets asked a lot. Best to just go find the other people who have your question.

Yeah I've read them and they are slightly old and are all filled with 1 person say parry others det crit so not super helpful I'm more looking for recommendations on the stats I posted should I do more acc more det no parry etc

I did Crit until it got too expensive, Det until it got too expensive, acc until it got too expensive, then skill speed. Spent 800k for all melds. I was being incredibly frugal. I think I have 7 SkS on the sword. But I also need accuracy badly since fending gear from WoD has minimal accuracy.

Do you regret doing it that way?

No if anything I need more accuracy. It really sucked having to unequip my Demon Armor of Fending for my Noct Breastplate because I was too on accuracy for T4.... I ended up buying food and swapping my gloves instead.

Also I did not fall into a shallow grave because I was broke either spending all my money maxing out. Accuracy is invaluable as any class. It just offers more gear choices. If I can sacrifice 14 det/crit on my weapon for 14 det/crit on a pair of gloves I will be much happier.

Hmm well maybe I'll do what you do only no skill speed lol and just spend extra on acc cause I hate switching out gear
