Yeah it's one of those "Haven't played in a while" posts, but it only has compliments

I just came here to share my contentment with both Square Enix and you guys, the community, regarding this awesome free week of FFXIV.

First of all, the endgame has improved A LOT since launch. I stopped playing after the first month because I though the progression was too much based on luck, and I had lots of problems dodging AoEs. Now it feels like you're progressing even though you're not getting lucky on the loot.

Regarding the AoE dodging, I don't know if they made it better or if I stopped sucking. Maybe it has something to do with remembering that I'm a console gamer and booting my DS3 on the PC, lol. It feels so much smoother.

And, of course, I'd like to thank you guys. Almost everyone I met was really helpful and comprehensive. It felt like the community had grown more mature since launch, congratulations on that.

So, I'm thanking both Square Enix and you all for this great week. I'll probably get a PS4 soon and jump back. Also really hyped for Heavensward.
