Character Options

I am pretty sure someone else has posted this a billion times, but i cannot find any answer to this so this is my question if anyone wants to help

To Play this game, I also have to pay for having a character, along with the regular subscription?

sure right now they are not doing subscription charger, but I now also have to PAY for having one character? whats up with that?! :mad:

everything is free atm, but yes u have to pay for the game + one char

each char after that is $3 and retainers are $1

You'll need to pay for the account which is $9.99 in addition to the $3.00 for each additional characters, so it's only $12.99 per month to play if you have only one character(you can level all classes on one char. so you really only need one). They will announce ahead of time before they begin charging for the monthly fee, the game is still free to play for the time being.

Like other said it's only 12.99$ for 1 Account and to hire more NPC it's 1$ more so that pretty much your mule to hold item/sell so that not much of a big deal.

I'm really confused now...so it's buy to play (at the moment), but you need a character to play, and the monthly subscription is based on your number of characters...so...it's NOT buy to play but pay to play since you technically HAVE to have at least one character to play?

You pay nothing until they decide to charge a monthly fee, after you buy/register your game you can create as many characters as you want (the max is eight char., I believe), there is no fee currently for having a service account and for making characters. Each characters cost $0 at the moment just like the game account. Just make sure to delete and unregister any characters that you might not want to pay for before they start charging and you will be fine. You'll need at least one char. registered on your account to play though.
