Getting Dungeon Lockout Timer from Others.

This has happened so many times lately. As a group we will queue for an instance and 1 player in the party will not hit the commence button due to afk.

The problem lies in the fact that other players are getting the 30 minute lockout, players that hit the commence button, rather than the player that failed to accept the queue.

It shouldn't be possible at all to acquire the lockout if you hit the commence button period! Please fix this!

which... doesn't do squat against trolls. all-in-all the system is flawed and needs to be looked at. i don't even group up with other people anymore because of it. nowa-days anything less then a Light/Full Party isn't worth putting your neck out for. which is wrong... can hardly consider this an MMORPG.

well, i guess some worlds are just full of trolls while others are seemingly perfect. getting penalized for another persons action(s) is very dis-heartening. i just don't like having to be skittish of helping random people. if it is just one person, then you know who the troll is. it is obviously obvious. i don't mind trying to help a single person, but if they are with a friend or something... i am not even going to try. ( unless i have interactions with the players ) either Light/Full Party, or nothing. IMO, this is a terrible thing for a player to make a habit of while playing an MMORPG. but the system makes this type of non-helpful behavior more common. people aren't always willing to stick their neck out and take the risk of being trolled.

It's not even about who's a troll and who's not a troll... It doesn't even have to be a troll... it could be a good friend who happened to go bio or doze off 20 minutes into a long queue.

Who's trolling has nothing to do with weather or not the system is broken, in which this case it is! This feature is to target the player who queues and does not take the queue. It should in no way shape or form target the other players in the party. If you can't fix it, remove it all together... it's not like the queues have improved at all with it in place. It was unsuccessful and it's broken.

Fix it or get rid of it please.

Sorry, but I think it is working as they intended and personally I really like it how it is. If anything I wish the 30 minute lockout was increased to further discourage wasting other peoples time (I actually thought it was higher and was disappointed to find out it's only 30 minutes!)

There's nothing more annoying that the duty box popping up and it being cancelled. Before they implemented this getting into Crystal Tower etc used to take forever because of the amount of people that hit withdraw and it would requeue over and over and over. Now? Usually get in within first few tries, if it even takes that long.

If you're playing with someone that repeatedly gets you locked out, don't play with them. Sure it happens by mistake (your example of a friend dozing off), but you have to have withdrawn 3 times in a day (specifically 9am to 9am PST) to get the lockout and if you're with someone who is repeatedly doing it three or more times in a day... don't play with them.

I know this will sound harsh, but just because your friend(s) are unreliable, please don't try and make the rest of us have to also suffer more of their pressing withdraw than we have to.
