didn't get credit for dungeon quest

I just completed Dzemael Darkhold for the quest "Shadows Uncast" and did not get credit for it. I am concerned because I need this quest to advance with my grand company. My connection is cable broad band. This was on 3/3/2015 at approximately 8 pm mst. My character was Lavender Aonair, race Hyur, on Siren (world). Class is conjurer, job white mage. This occured after completeing Dzemael Darkhold for the quest Shadows Uncast. I was in a party formed through duty finder. I did die during the final battle but was not dead when it was completed.

Were you dead during the final boss? That seems to crop up from time to time. Try running the dungeon again, and if you have the same problem, fill out all the template information in the sticky, or they're going to close this thread for Insufficient Information.

I wasn't dead, but will try running it again today, thank you. Also didn't know about the sticky so thanks for that too.

Did you remember to talk to the npc in front of the dungeon to progress in the guest to the point where you have to clear the dungeon?

Yes, both before and after. When I finished I went back to her and she just gave me the quest again. There was a time gap between when I first talked to her and when I did the dungeon though. When I am able to try it again, I will make sure and stand there until I get in. Thank you

The tricky part about that is that first quest is to open the dungeon, second quest is for the grand company. So basically you have to talk the npcs in front of the entrance twice.

Aw, thank you very much! that dungeon was a bit difficult for me having to heal and move around aoe's, I'm really not wanting to do it multiple times.
