Free Windows Version?

Is it possible to get the Windows version of this game for free? The download I mean. I had the PS3 version, got to upgrade to the PS4 version for free but had to pawn my PS4 for now. I was trying to see if we are allowed a free Windows version? I dunno.

Nope, you have to buy the license for it.

You can download the client but need to add a windows key.

You can download it for free, but need a PC registration key to login to your account with the PC

only way to get it free on windows is through recruit a friend campaign as far as I know.
ofcourse I could be wrong on this one...wouldnt be the first time.

The "trial" version of it on Steam is the full client

You can get the PC version for free if you played 1.0, not sure if there was a time limit on that redemption though.

No time limit. Your account details are exactly as you left them. The only other way to get it "free" is to get a buddy pass from someone who owns the 1.0 CE, since they have no expiration date.
