out of 100 games i won 62, drew 32 lost 6 times (there is slight variation where he uses biggs on bottom but that winning combo is slightly harder to explain)

5. moogle to bottom right

if npc leads
1. dodo to centre
2. mandragora above dodo
3. moogle to bottom right
4. couerl to top right

Edit: did another 100 runs and I must have got the Ultima/Godbert cards from another NPC. Removed them from the confirmed list sorry for the confution

Just tried it and I can confirm it works. Seems a bit more iffy when it's the NPC leading but you'll win most of the time. Thanks for posting this.

I will try to work out strategies for other npc's.. i have beaten quite a few now but finding a pattern that works with all the rules can be tricky

Do you need maxed out reputation to play against him? He wouldn't play with me when I tried.

I have max rep so it could be a possibility.,,

I don't think I'd call this 90% success since even with a draw, you still lose 5MGP, but its alot higher chance than winging it on my own, so thanks for that. In just 20 minutes I was able to get Biggs, Cid and Behemoth cards.

If you consider the draws as a loss then you will make up the rest in extra card drops.. 3 star 50MGP 4 star sells for 200MGP etc.. i earned almost an extra 2000 MGP in card sales had a few lucky 4 star drops

can anyone confirm he drops Ultima Weapon card? I got 4 Cids, 6 Behemoths, and 3 Biggs/Wedge but 0 Ultima Wpns
