Golden saucer > PvP ?
So with golden saucer coming out moments away, how much of the pvp playerbase will gravitate towards the new and omg shiny golden saucer?
I'm pretty sure playing games and stuff will take you out of DF qeue as choco racing etc seem to be instanced or an "event" that will most likely lock u in place unless u abandon it
I.e crafting then DF qeue pops.
Surely this will be the new "go to " thing outside of raiding and crafting/ gathering. Also the fact that the new relic stage is also coming out seems to make frontlines seem less appealing as it is now. ( r.i.p wolves den )
So i guess if u haven't hit rank 45 and have gotten all ur shiny stuff ur kinda screwed if u had plans on pvp progression or obtaining the pvp vanity etc Xc

pvp has been that way for months now even adding slaughter didnt improve it at all... ive given up ever obtaining those mounts considering most of the time i have 90min + wait for a loss anyways lol

I wouldn't say that for sure... Frontlines is still one of the more reliable ways to get steady lights for Nexus weapons, so there's always going to be some steady flow there. Not to mention it's going to depend a lot on how easy/hard it is to get the rewards people want from the gold saucer, or whether or not people enjoy chocobo racing (which will probably have its own queue) more than PVP.
If people are wanting to run pvp while getting access to Gold Saucer, they'll just stick to the GATEs while waiting in queue, or possible do the minigames, which shouldn't lock people out of queue any more than crafting.
