Challenging the devs!

I have a request. Well, more like a wish, really. Seeing the minimum requirements and experiencing what I experience in random DF parties, I would very much like to know how certain content was intended to be done with those given requirements. Specifically...

• The Navel (Extreme) - average item level requirement: 67
• The Binding Coil of Bahamut - Turn 5 - average item level requirement: 82
• Urth's Fount - average item level requirement: 95

I don't know about other servers/datacenters, but from where I've been, these are still incredibly hard walls, especially via DF, which is "the" tool for the general playerbase to complete content with; even though most everyone is severely overgeared by now. I know that with the devs' own insider knowledge and the probably zero latency, it would still not be representative of...anything, really. But for the sake of satisfying curiosity - please show us some videos of how these can be done with characters at those minimum ilevels. Thank you very much.



AND PLEASE REMOVE THIS GODSDAMNED CHARACTER LIMIT BECAUSE IT SERVES NO PURPOSE AT ALL!

I am aware that there are dozens of guides out there, with dozens of extremely devoted hardcore players who down every new content in a few heartbeats - but those are just a different thing entirely, a very small minority. Also doubt they do everything at minimum required ilvls. And even if so, it does not necessarily reflect how things were originally intended to be done. Which is what I'm really interested in.

Also: feel free to add anything you wouldn't mind seeing to be done as intended. I guess there is more I'm not aware of / interested in, personally. ^^

btw, you can edit your original post to bypass the character limit. (And for as often as I type this, I should just put it in my signature...)


On the topic you actually mentioned... primal fights are a matter of memorizing the boss's rotations, moving accordingly, and knowing your OWN abilities well enough to optimize them and take down the primal at these ilvls. So yeah, can be done, and has. ^^v For that matter... ilvl didn't used to be a thing. I don't remember there even BEING ilvl restrictions back when.

Ha. That's a nice idea too - something they should come up with, though. "Race the devs" - schedule - rewards - etcetcetc. :D Sorry it's not what this is about~

And yes, I know I can edit my post, hence the whole pointlessness of the character limit in the first place. It doesn't do anything, save for annoying those who want to express themselves. It should either not be circumventable, especially not this easily; or just shouldn't exist at all, if it is. Having to go back and edit my post every time it's longer than something like "lol omg that's awesome" is not how a message board should work. :/

Both Titan EX and T5 were both completed by players when the highest ilvl you could possibly reach was i90.

However, sometimes, skill > gear.

Ye3s but he's asking them to complete it at the gear level required to DF it... which is ilvl67 and ilvl82

I would love to see the devs try odin at ilvl95 haha

T5 was cleared by Lucrezia in crafted i55 gear, so it's totally doable in i82. >_>
