Arty things!
Hey so, I am fairly new to XIV, but I've been having fun already with doing art and things inspired by it. And I was wondering if there's anyone else about who does arty things, maybe we can show off our things and see some pretty stuff!

My arty things are poetry and cake decorating, can't draw.

Subtle, out-of-context spoilers for World of Darkness (storyline, not raid), but I drew this for the Valentione's event and it came out pretty alright.
Trying to draw that gear while also trying to not completely butcher XIV's character proportions was a lot of work. I'd like to draw more FFXIV stuff, but I think next time I'll stick to my usual style.

Ahh, I had a superficial look for another arty thread, but I didn't see one! But if it was buried deep I think this is probably better than thread necromancy anyway, haha.

@Anarnee: Those pinups are so pretty, your style of drawing faces is really appealing :)
@Wobble: I'd love to see your cakes! Aeons ago, I made a cactaur cake with a friend of mine. I think this might be the only surviving photo of it: Before the days of Photoshop ...it was a very long time ago.
@Fenral: Gosh, that looks like it was a lot of work! Drawing an entire scene is more than I usually manage, haha.
So do people like to get their characters drawn and stuff? I'm guessing if the thread was pretty dusty, there isn't much of an art community going on here...
