So how is GC going to work?

I can only imagine the entire server in this place, bots including, making it near impossible to see everything. will it be one giant area? will the games be instanced?

I was wondering this earlier today. I love this game but unfortunately sometimes SE seems to implement things that don't make any sense. Did they anticipate that Golden Saucer will be packed, at least at first? Will things load okay? Will I have to wait in line to play any of the mini-games? Will the rewards be reasonable and fairly costed? (SE has hinted that the mounts will cost an enormous amount of points...). What kind of content has SE locked Triple Triad cards behind? What will the RNG be like for card drops? What will the matching be like for chocobo racing?

I hate to be pessimistic but I'm fairly certain that SE will screw up something with Gold Saucer implementation. Look at hunts, a great concept but being able to gear up an unlimited amount has made them completely unfun (at least from my perspective). A simple limit of some sort would have been enough to revitalize hunts without making them a complete mess.

I'm calling it now, you will be able to get Carbontwine from Gold Saucer but so many people will be in the zone that GATES won't load or people won't be able to play the mini-games. And others will be wishing each other cancer all the live-long day.

I hope the game area is an instanced zone, or at least the games themselves.
