Getting married fantasia question

So I've been growing tired of being a cat boy for some time and wanted to switch back to a Hyur. Now I've heard rumors that if you switch your race after you've done the quest and you're awaiting your date for the ceremony it would screw things up and you wont be able to even take place in the wedding. Is there any confirmation for this rumor?

So i went ahead and gave it a shot, hoped and prayed that nothing would go wrong, turns out the rumors or false or were fixed. didn't lose my wrist item or blank invitation
