Adder premades on Aether data center absolutely destroying other GCs in slaughter.

Anybody else experiencing this? Usual cookie cutter team of stacked black mages and summoners.

You're not imagining things. Look at the leaderboard. It's a lot of Gilga players.

I would not want to be Storm or Flames on Aether. :(

Yes, apparently they were the same premade that was queing as Flames a few weeks ago. After I notice they've logged on, i just que secure. Aint nobody got time fo dat.

Now that "word has spread" that the Gilga Premade <tm> switched to Adders, tons of previously die-hard Flames have jumped ship and joined the Serpents. There are a couple of people on Gilgamesh that have been Flames since launch and changed GCs just to get into winning matches.

As a result, Serpent queue times have gone through the roof in the past week - from 10ish minutes to 40ish minutes.

Not that I'm complaining. I get a lot done while I'm queuing (cleaning house, prepping dinner, picking boogers, etc.), and it's nice to not be on the receiving end of 4 consecutive Cometeors, and the people in the Gilga Static <tm> aren't jerks or anything, just decent-seeming dudes that don't whine and complain a bunch.

But just take it as cold comfort for the other GCs: While Adders collectively have a much higher chance of winning in Slaughter, we individually have a much lower chance of actually getting into a match.

It's only Slaughter. Either 1) return fire, 2) wait until patches hinder it, 3) or just don't care about it. Like Gwen said it's not like they're making a fuss about it. Just having fun and working up those achievements while the getting's good. Literally can't blame them for it.

Just queue for Secure. Adder sucks at Secure.

This is how I've been slowly grinding my last 10 wins to ADS.

The Gilga premade is on for literally 4-5 hours of the day, at primetime, ruining the fun of Slaughter, and frankly they should quit while their ahead or their queues are going to go ever higher when the other two GCs stop queueuing at prime time.

I enjoyed Slaughter for a time, but now it's just 'are there spriggan caps on Adder?' And if there is you just fight Mael for 2nd. That's not fun at all.

Maybe we can use this to gain some momentum for secure, would be great to see it become the popular frontlines w/72 man matches again

I'd hope so. Slaughter is an unfun mess as of late. How people can sit there and queue for 8 hours a day, (Even right now at 2 EST, we'll see them at 8EST tonight I bet you, just look for spriggan caps) for pointless wins in a disgustingly balanced mode is beyond me.
