Eternity Ring Stats
Allowing the Eternity Ring to copy the stats of the other already equipped ring would allow those "eternally bound" to wear their ring at all times, thus making it when a player examines them, they can know whether or not they are married.
The ring could copy the stat bonuses and iLv of the other equipped ring, and have no stats if another ring is not equipped.
If this is seen as an easy way to always have a high item level ring, then a different variant can be given to those who buy the premium ceremony packages, that way the ring cannot be acquired from the free package.
This would also give more incentive to use the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding service, and a way to encourage the spending of money on the option store, if it is locked to the premium packages.
Other Idea
Also or if another option allow the ring increase the drop rate of items from mobs if the wearer is in the same party as their partner. Or allowing a small xp boost and so forth.
Please take this into consideration.

We already get enough types of EXP bonuses (buffs from Free companies, food, and a 50% bonus if we have another class at level 50).
Ninja already has an item drop type skill that gives you more items if you kill an enemy with Mug.
And all you need to do is glamour your Eternity Ring, you could effectively have it on both rings.

So you are asking for a (statwise) copy of an most likely unique ring like the augmented ironworks rings or dreadwyrm rings?
Nice try.
Just glamor the thing
